I am a passionate, experienced teacher & music leader, singer songwriter and composer currently based in Stroud.

I am the founder and leader of Queer Voices Gloucestershire choir and previous musical director for Stonehouse Community Choir. I run bespoke singing workshops in the community, for festivals and for corporate away days, as well as 1-2-1 private tuition. I compose and arrange a-cappella songs for voice groups as well as a variety of contemporary folk-roots, pop and instrumental works.

I have been singing professionally since 2001 with many bands and projects, have sung all over Europe and written and released a solo EP, 2 x EPs and album with my previous band, The Tatsmiths and 2 x EPs with my latest folk roots collective Dryadic. I am also the guitar and piano player for Muddy Summers and the DFWs and previously sang with Duncan Disorderly's Scallywags and We are Bob. I have worked with many writers, including Alfie Weedon (Cousteau, AK Patterson, anarcho-folk-punk songwriter Cosmo, award winning singer-songwriter Paul Diello (Epicene, Brighton Pride), Jake Skinner (Brighton Road Studios, Nigel Kennedy, Ellie Ford), Josh Wunderlich (DWB Music Ltd), DFL (Stay Up Forever, Flat Life Records) and supported Grace Petrie, Heather Peace, O'Hooley & and Tidow and duetted live with the esteemed soprano Nadine Benjamin MBE.

I am a member of the Natural Voice Network. Collaborations include Community Music Sounds London, Gloucester City Voices, Out & Wild Festival and Stroud Pride, Pride in Gloucestershire & Brighton Pride. I am also on the funding panel for Voices Gloucester and LGBTQIA+ mentor there.

My special interest is in empowering queer and women’s groups through song and harmony.
