The Wilson is an exciting resource we can use to develop our own unique work. This course will use the exhibitions and artefacts currently on display to inspire us to produce our own work. From abstract work to Arts and Crafts we will be drawing, sketching, painting and exploring ideas to produce sketchbooks that will lead to many new ideas. You will explore critical thinking, decision-making and creativity skills on this course.

How did the Old Masters make their paint? They used pigments extracted from the earth and mixed it with egg yolk…. Yes egg yolk! This paint is called Egg Tempera. Visitors will be able to learn about pigments and mix their own colour and see how it feels to paint with it.
