I love the act of making.

It makes me feel purposeful and perhaps enables me to let go of thinking about the future and just be in the moment.

My paintings are expressive and inspired by nature and the world I see around me. I prefer to paint from life, finding beauty in the everyday. I love old gnarly trees with many a story to tell and collections of things - particularly trinket antiques.

I have worked in different media but my current preference is oil, spread thickly on the canvas with a palette knife.

I trained at Camberwell Art College, university of the Arts London.
