Pelican Arts was founded by Pat Roberts, who worked for over 20 years at the Guildhall Arts Centre in Gloucester. She spent her time there putting together film, workshops and exhibitions programmes, dealing with publicity and working on arts development.

She aims to spread the joy of participation in the arts around as many people as possible, to help stressed-out arts organisations, artists and educators, to make stuff work and have some fun. Recent clients include Theatre Gloucestershire, Marketing Gloucester, Gdance, Create Gloucestershire and Artshape.
