Stroud's Own Theatre and home to the Cotswold Players, the Cotswold Playhouse presents around 15 shows a year from both the Players and from visiting companies. From classics to musicals, drama to pantomime, we increasingly take our productions out into the community: we have recently performed at the Stroud Theatre Festival, the Stroud Shakespeare Festival, St Laurence's Church and Stroud Brewery.

As well as a modern, fully equipped stage and auditorium, our theatre offers multiple changing rooms, storage for our set, costumes and props, a welcoming bar and lounge, and even a dance studio. We also make the facilities available to visiting companies, schools, dance classes, toddler groups and many more.

Everything is run by volunteers, so we are always keen to welcome new members, on stage or backstage! We may be unpaid, but we aspire to professional standards in everything we do. Why not join us?
