Title:

Making Prints

Artform:

Visual arts – print making

Challenge:

Explore ‘monoprinting’ in three different ways.

Resources:

  1. Waterbased printing ink (if you have it) or some waterbased paint

  2. Ink roller/Small sponge paint roller (not essential)

  3. Paint Brushes

  4. Perspex sheet or thick acetate (not essential) - a wipeable tray or table top works just as well… anything that’s non-absorbent, flat and easy to wipe paint/ink from!

  5. Paper – For printing onto. Thin paper, such as copier/printer paper works very well, cartridge paper torn from sketchbooks also works well.

  6. Pencils

  7. Damp cloth, kitchen towel or wet wipes
