'PurpleGibbon' is an emerging theatre company, created in 2013. The two founding members of the company, Josh Hampton and Charlotte Newell graduated in 2014 after training in Contemporary Theatre and Performance at Manchester Metropolitan University.

PurpleGibbon aim to devise theatre that is playful, thoughtful and focuses on involving the audience in unusual ways.

Currently we are creating our first performance out of university and we are both hoping, when it is complete, to take it to platform events, pilot nights and festivals.
