We are an award-winning theatre company who champion the next generation of brilliant playwrights, especially those who might otherwise lack pathways into theatre. Each year we provide free training, performances or publication to over 4000 people, award thousands of pounds in bursaries and seed funding, and help anyone, anywhere, make or share in exciting new theatre.

Our creative learning and professional development programme, GoWrite, is designed to give young people aged 12-19 a taste of both playwriting and professional theatre-making. The programme not only complements the Drama and English curriculum but also develops skills and confidence in creative writing and thinking, self-expression and collaboration, empowering young people to explore the issues and topics which are meaningful to them, and to tell their own stories.

The programme includes: 'Writing a Monologue' workshops led by professional theatre-makers; a Young Playwrights Award offering mentorship, theatre book tokens and professional performances; and an e-Learning Hub.
