I work independently as a freelance graphic illustrator and as a teacher of illustration and art. I have an insatiable appetite for drawing, choosing to do it for fun, and lucky enough to do it for a living. Working primarily to commission, with a wide ranging client group, my daily routine is diverse and inspiring. I have a distinctive contemporary graphic style of drawing, keeping my own practice alive with a keen aspiration for creative and challenging opportunity. My enthusiasm for design and graphics informs my teaching style, making my workshops upbeat, current and fun. I am a magpie for logo and drawn illustration. I love its direct communication and find infinite inspiration in the distillation of simple line to capture and communicate.
Present clients include The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden; The Royal Ballet; John Lewis and Partners; Facts4Life (an NHS education program); Gloucester Archives; Cheltenham Literary Festival; Glide Media among others.
I also work to private commission, exhibit as and when I can, and work as an artist practitioner for ArtLift.
