The aims and objectives of Glosfolk are to promote the appreciation and participation in folk song, music, dance, drama, and customs in the County of Gloucestershire.

We do this by representing performers and enthusiasts, maintaining a web site, a Directory of Performers, and a Diary of Events, and being the first point of contact for enquiries. We support projects, and publications, and run occasional events. We also lobby Members of Parliament, Local Councils, Government Departments and agencies, BBC, Arts Council to make sure the voice of folk music is heard and understood.
