The aim is creating a Diverse-City event to bring the various multicultural communities within Gloucester together. Over the years the local community has changed with new populations moving into the area. Many of the local community clubs and events that brought people together have closed. The Festival has brought people together by breaking down barriers, and highlighting areas of common interest under one roof. These areas include art, photography, food, poetry and entertainment.
