Deborah is an award and prize winning contemporary Sculptor based at Gloucester City Works.

After discovering stone carving later in life she studied for a diploma in Stone Masonry at Bath City College. Deborah Uses a technique called Carving Direct where she follows the grain, colour and form of the stone. She carves until she reaches a kind of skin and the sculpture takes on life of its own.

Deborah leads workshops, takes commissions and exhibits widely. Deborah is a founder member of the Cotswold Sculptors Association who now have over 100 members.
