The Whole School Social and Emotional Well-being Project

This film records The Whole Schools project run in Gloucestershire over 2 years between 2017 and 2019.

The pilot aimed to understand better how a creative based approach across a whole school and community could grow social and emotional well-being and prevent mental health problems.

Over the programme, 293 curriculum based workshops in dance, costume making, animation and digital art were run and 131 children participated in 166 lunchtime or after school club sessions. The teachers partnered with professional artists to co-deliver dance and textiles classes over 2 terms and there was a public performance for all pupils, parents/carers and teachers.
