Drama / Media Tutor Needed for Exciting Home-Ed Film Project!
Are you a qualified drama, theatre or media tutor with a passion for working with young people? Your role will be to guide and inspire a small group of enthusiastic young actors (ages 11-16), taking a positive strengths-based approach as they bring their unique visions to life.
You’ll be involved in creative problem-solving, project management, and providing general directing assistance.
Requirements:
Experience of working with young people with SEND / neurodivergent children.
Experience of working with home-educated children (desirable). Great team player with experience of positive, collaborative environments.
Teaching qualification in a relevant subject (minimum of a Level 3 diploma in a relevant qualification or a professional teaching qualification).
Experience of project management and the successful leading of a group.
Technical film making knowledge - storyboarding, camerawork, post /editing.
When:
1 day per week for 2 hours: Wednesdays, 3:00 - 5:00 PM, starting in Autumn 2025.
Where:
St George’s Playing Field, Nailsworth (weather-dependent, alternative: local indoor space).
Pay rate:
Between £13-£30p/h dependent on qualifications and experience.
