Call for Facilitators: Host a Writing Workshop for Adults in Gloucestershire Libraries
About NaNoWriMo: National Novel Writing Month is a fun writing event where the challenge is to draft an entire novel in just 30 days. It encourages creativity, discipline, and a sense of community among writers.
Location: Various libraries across Gloucestershire
Dates: November 2024
Audience: Adult writers of all skill levels
Format: In-person workshops (length and frequency to be determined based on facilitator availability and library schedules)
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and supportive writing workshops tailored to adult participants,
Foster a positive and encouraging environment for writers,
Share tips, techniques, and resources to help participants meet their writing goals,
Encourage collaboration and idea-sharing among participants
Requirements:
Experience in writing and/or teaching writing workshops
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to inspire and motivate adult learners
Passion for fostering a love of writing in the community
