Videographer call out: Birth Histories project

The Women’s Art Activation System seek a videographer to work on a National Lottery Heritage funded project in partnership with Museum in the Park, Stroud. The Baby Makers: Making History sets out to establish reproductive and birth histories in the Museum collection as an important part of our collective heritage.

The videographer will support the project documenting and developing a film that will be presented at a final exhibition of the project in November 2024 before being included in the Museum collection. Outside the scope of this project, the film will be shared more widely with potential stakeholders for future projects and the Stroud Film Festival in 2025.

The videographer must be available on Sunday 7th July 11am - 1pm and Wednesday 10th July 11am - 1pm to document two creative workshops with our community partners Stroud Against Racism and Stroud Local History Society which are to be held at the Museum in the Park. The stories shared by participants could be of a personal nature and the appointed person will need to have a sensitivity and awareness to help us to create a safe space where participants feel able to share their stories freely.

Deadline for submissions
