Ernest Cook Youth Advisory Board is seeking new members!
Do you want to meet some other passionate young people, learn new skills and get some brilliant experience for your CV? The Ernest Cook Trust’s Youth Advisory Board is now open for applications
Our Youth Advisory Board is integral to developing our Influencers Schemes (match funded by the #iwill Fund*) and has significant input into future programming at the Trust.
What does the Youth Advisory Board do?
The Youth Advisory Board will meet regularly in the summer months (usually via Microsoft Teams) to get a feel for the Trust and the goals of the Youth Advisory Board. Subsequent meetings will be decided by the Board and will depend on programming by the Trust. The Board will decide on its own direction as a decision-making body and identify its own goals and priorities while playing a key role in furthering youth voice and representation across the Trust.
Some things you might be involved in:
Selecting organisations to be funded through our funding streams
Designing of programme frameworks (evaluation, monitoring, structure etc)
Representing The Ernest Cook Trust at external events
Organising events and training for representatives of the youth & environment sector
