The New Real Magazine: Edition 1
The New Real, a research hub on AI, creativity, and futures, a joint initiative by the University of Edinburgh and The Turing Institute, supported by UKRI, Creative Scotland, and the Scottish AI Alliance, has produced a free and digital resource on Arts and AI for the creative community.
The New Real Magazine is an engagement vehicle for the world leading research we have been doing over the past five years on AI and Arts. Edition one of the magazine includes a guide with actionable recommendations for creatives working with generative AI, alongside more reflective articles, myth busters, artworks and reports. The magazine also gives prominence to the artists that have been working with AI for over a decade and we hear from today’s artists that are taking AI to the next level in their practice.
