Could you create an artistic representation of Cam Parish?

Cam Parish Council has secured external funding to appoint an expert to create a user-friendly map of our parish. Cam has a network of historical snickets linking residential areas to schools, churches and key employment areas. As the community expands, so too does our parish profile. We would like to update our existing parish map to make sure everyone is included!

Cam Parish Council will be printing the map in A0, and A3 and will require a black and white version for a community colouring competition. The map will also need to be uploaded to the Council website. The new map will need a creative user-friendly map on one side, and a snickets/landmark list on the back (as the original version has).

For a copy of the original snickets map, please contact: projects@camparishcouncil.gov.uk or pop into the office to collect a copy.

Please visit our website for further details relating to the new map and a list of new locations to be included.:

A fee of £1,250.00 inclusive of VAT and all travel and associated project costs is being offered for the right person.

The successful local artist/ Graphic designer is expected to deliver the following by the beginning of September 2024:

  • A completed map of Cam detailing snicket ways, local play areas, recreational spaces and other key landmarks to be confirmed.

  • A map that is printable in A0 – A4 sizes and can be used for digital purposes.

  • A map in black and white that can be used for a local colouring competition.
