Performer Open Call - Queer Nature Cabaret

Queering the Wye and Wyldwood Arts are thrilled to be curating the second Queer Nature Cabaret for FOD Fringe 2025, and are currently inviting interested performers to reach out.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Event background: This joyful, quirky, family friendly event embraces the diversity of human identities, breaks binaries, and celebrates the queerness present in so much of nature. In March 2024 the inaugural cabaret sold out, and delivered a mesmerising, inclusive and interactive event for local LGBTQIA+ people and allies.

Next year, for 2025, we have a bigger venue, a bigger budget and bigger plans! We are currently inviting anyone with a suitable act to get in touch - whether thatโ€™s drag, music, dance, comedy, circus, magic, or anything else.

Key Details:

๐Ÿ“Where?

West Dean Centre, Bream, Gloucestershire, GL15 6JW

๐Ÿ“† When?

Evening of Saturday 1st March 2025

๐Ÿ‘‰ How to get involved:

We want our application process to be as inclusive as possible, so if you already have a showreel or info pack then thatโ€™s brilliant, but otherwise feel free to get in touch with whatever youโ€™d like us to know about you and your act. Photos, videos, websites, social media descriptions of the act and expected fee are all potentially really helpful to see!

Email any information and/or questions to sian@vsjones.com

Acts will be shortlisted and reviewed by attendees to our LGBTQIA+ youth groups in late 2024.
