Gloucester Young People's Action Summit
The Gloucester Young People Action Summit - is a FREE event to look at issues linked to youth violence prevention; social, sporting and cultural opportunities; health and wellbeing; and social action.
It is FOR young people and also FOR organisations that engage with young people.

PAID OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
There are also paid opportunities for young people to participate, perform and facilitate the first Gloucester Young People’s Action Summit.
Hosts
The organisers would like 3 or 4 young people to host the event
To set the scene and help manage the process - there will be scope to add their own experience and post live social media so they need to feel comfortable/safe doing that. They will also introduce any performers during the networking/break - 4.30pm to 5.30pm.
Availability: They will need to be available for an online briefing session on the 12th January - one hour, time to be confirmed and on the 18th January in person in Gloucester from 12.30pm to 8.30pm.
Stipend: £100 plus travel.
Facilitators
These young people will lead each table, making sure that everyone is heard - with a focus on hearing from young participants. They will get the table working on the task - and try to keep it focussed. They can ask for someone else to take notes.
Availability: They'll need to be available for an online briefing session on the 12th January - one and a half hours, time to be confirmed and on the 18th January in person in Gloucester from 1pm to 8.30pm
Stipend: £100 plus travel.
Facilitators x14
Participants
Needed to take part in table discussions - with support from the facilitator. At least two per table, with peer or staff support.
Availability: To attend one of the two workshops on the day - 1.30pm to 4.30pm or 5.30pm to 8.30pm (we may change the timings of Session 2)
Stipend: £35 plus travel.
