Gloucestershire Libraries invite expressions of interest from practitioners and artists for Saturday Clubs
We are looking for creative minded and experienced practitioners and partners to devise and deliver workshops and events for families across Gloucestershire, without use of digital technology.
Aimed at families, with a focus on Early Years children (0-5yrs) and hard to reach groups, (although all families are welcome), practitioners devise and lead workshops of up to an hour in a library space, engaging children and their caregivers, encouraging them to all join in with the activity, bonding, reducing social isolation, developing gross and fine motor skills, and learning new things!
Oct – Dec we’re seeing Gloucestershire Libraries transformed into magical fantasy worlds, thanks to some fantastic practitioners, with families using their imaginations and movement to bring life to magical Malaysian horses (Zariq Rose-Hanif), create Spell Books (Ally Goff), dance in an inclusive fantasy world (Jaz Allen), and so much more!
To apply, please complete an expression of interest HERE, and spread the word!
For any queries, or to discuss the project further, please contact Liz Vella – Development Officer (Family Focus) at elizabeth.vella@gloucestershire.gov.uk
