Connect with Cheltenham Arts Network
Cheltenham Arts Network (CAN) is a new group set up in response to the Cheltenham Culture/Artists Survey in 2022. In January 2023, the group met for the first time to form a new cross art-form information network for practitioners and arts organisers in the town.
The network is planning regular meetings which will focus on a different theme or challenge that emerged from the artist survey. You can sign up to find out more about future meetings here: cheltartsnetwork@gmail.com or look out for posts on the Facebook page.
Cheltenham Culture Board - read the new strategy
“Cheltenham is really proud of its reputation as a thriving centre for culture, heritage and sporting events, hosting some amazing festivals that celebrate literature, art, music, sport and science. But we feel we can do more – and use culture and creativity as a tool to help the local economy, attract visitors, engage young people and reach out to communities.
A range of partners have come together to form a culture board for Cheltenham. We have produced a strategy that includes a vision about how Cheltenham can really shift gear in our approach to developing and deepening our cultural offer. Bringing arts, digital and heritage innovation together will support creative and inclusive communities where everyone has the chance to thrive.”
