In Death & Leisure, Robbins and Roberts weave together a frenetic fusion of family, folk, death, desire, myths, mums, truths and tales. The exhibition is an exploration into the female experience, past, present and future, through ceramics, sculpture, tufting, textiles, drawing and live performance. Holding the paradoxical paradigms that shift so readily, they uncover obvious and ambiguous antidotes that muddle together in the juxtaposition of “Death & Leisure”.
Death & Leisure marks 10 years since Robbins & Roberts presented Perky & Pinky, Hardwick Gallery's first exhibition in 2014.
