Performative Art Installation in Stroud

Committed to bringing international artists to rural spaces, arts charity Hundred Heroines is introducing their next phase of The Feminist Project for Rural Arts.

Monica C LoCascio will be processing bio material and transforming it into a living artwork through a performative art installation. The art performance parallels the textile history of Gloucestershire and the ‘dirty-work’ of the women workers in the mills.

Drop in anytime throughout the event between 12-3PM 29th September at Stroud’s Museum in the Park.

The Museum is fully accessible. The event is drop-in, so you don't have to stay the whole duration. It is free to attend and free parking can be found at Stratford Park carpark.
