Exploring Virtual Production

Beyond its established use in movie making, arts organisations and artists have been exploring virtual production for some time – combining physical and virtual worlds to tell stories in new ways. In this webinar we’ll hear from creatives, leaders in digital development and research practitioners about their creative experiences with VP and their perspectives on the opportunities it brings for performance and digital arts practice.

Speakers:

The webinar will be hosted by one of The Space’s Executive Producers Sarah Butcher. Sarah develops and supports film and broadcast projects at The Space. Sarah started her career in theatre before working in TV, film, interactive arts and digital content. She’s a director/producer and co-founder of North South, who produce cinematic live performance capture and original work for livestream, on demand, broadcast and cinema.
