Our first catalyst programme started in 2020 with an amazing co-hort of 16 change makers and leaders - you can find out more about them and their ambitions for Gloucestershire below.
Due to Covid-19, we initially had to postpone our start date. However with some trepidation, we re-designed the programme on-line and are meeting as a co-hort regularly via zoom. Current events only make the need for catalyst more apparent and the opportunity greater. Sometimes waiting makes the things you want better…
Meet the change makers!
What I care about in Gloucestershire is that we live together peacefully in our communities and make it a safe place for generations to come.
What I care about in Gloucestershire is helping our population to navigate the complexities of our health and social care system to access the right support, when they need it.
What I care about in Gloucestershire is keeping Kingshill House in Dursley open for arts in the community.
What I care about in Gloucestershire is harnessing the energy of the creative, community spirited people who live here to make positive and (possibly radical!) changes for our communities ... particularly in terms of the environment but also by creating a more fair and equal society where opportunities are genuinely open to all.
What I care about in Gloucestershire is creating opportunities to strengthen our community and foster feelings of happiness and belonging!

What I care about in Gloucestershire is the growing and thriving of the music and arts community within the area.
What I care about in Gloucestershire is increasing fairness and equality so that everybody in the county can enjoy the beautiful environment we live in and be active members of our communities rather than feel overwhelmed by daily struggles.
What I care about in Gloucestershire is that small, independent retail businesses move forward and bring creativity, excitement and innovation to their local High Streets.
What I care about in Gloucestershire are the people. Whilst Gloucestershire has a flourishing history and beautiful green spaces we can all enjoy, for me it is the people we share our lives with which make a place home. I love the rising diversity enriching our communities, and whilst we have a multitude of issues we are yet to acknowledge in our beautiful county, Gloucestershire has an innate thoughtfulness and a strong sense of community that makes the big things manageable to address; this is why I am proud to call it home.
What I care about in Gloucestershire is creating a world that sees the individual within society, that holds uniqueness as strength, and is open to the possibility and potential of being wrong.
What I care about in Gloucestershire is creating high-quality, inspiring and life-changing art opportunities and experiences, focussing on young and vulnerable people.
What I care about in Gloucestershire is how through creativity we can not just support our community but bring joy and pride to their lives!
