Warm welcome to our new team member

My name is Khady and I'm so excited to have joined the Create Gloucestershire team as the Create Local Programme Manager.

My background has varied hugely, from studying English at University, to events management, social media and marketing roles, to now running an organisation that creates and delivers equalities initiatives. Over the last two years, I’ve also spent my time as a community builder and working with a host of wonderful charities across the Forest of Dean and gained such an incredible insight into the meaningful work being done in our communities to support local people.

I will be working within the Create Local team, supporting the existing creative catalysts in their work, and also facilitating the development of our new place-based alliances. I'm so excited to explore a new way to work with the community, create new opportunities and growth in our local area, and that I get to be a part of this wonderful team!
